Kekova Boat Tour

On this boat tour in the Kekova region, you will enjoy swimming breaks in crystal-clear bays, a slow panoramic cruise over the Sunken City, and a stop at Simena (Kaleköy).

09:30: Departure from Kaş center to Üçağız Village

Route & Stops

1) Aquarium Bay

The first stop of the tour. It is named for its crystal-clear water and is perfect for snorkeling.

2) Tersane Bay

It is located on the southwestern side of the island. A swimming break is taken here, and you can also see the remains of an ancient church and a shipyard along the shore.

3) Sunken City

The boat passes slowly through this area ( swimming is not permitted ). With glass-bottom boats, you can see underwater stairways, house ruins, and sarcophagi.

4) Simena (Kaleköy)

It is a village with no road access, reachable only by sea or via a hiking trail. A break of approximately 1 hour is taken here.

Don't miss it: Try the famous homemade peach or prickly pear ice cream and walk up to the castle to enjoy the view.

5) Gökkaya Bay

It is a large, sheltered bay where lunch is usually served. Water sports options are also available.

6) Pirate Cave

It is a natural formation where Mediterranean monk seals are also frequently seen. A photo break is taken here.

7) Hamidiye or Burç Bay

These are the final swimming breaks on the return journey. In Burç Bay, cold freshwater springs emerging from underwater make the sea refreshingly cool.

Important Tour Information

Start / End: 10:00 – 18:00 (depending on weather conditions, +/- 30 minutes)

Lunch: Usually included in the price (grilled chicken/fish, pasta, salad, and appetizers)

Extras: Drinks, the entrance fee to Simena Castle, and ice cream are usually extra

Price (2026): Tours are shared. Agencies in Kaş work together; the price per person is 60 Euros.

A Small Tip

If you do not enjoy crowds and your group has more than 6–8 people, you may consider renting a private boat. This way, you can determine the route together with the captain and anchor at quieter spots instead of the most popular bays during busy hours.
